9 Inch Birdcage Veil

This small birdcage veil is made of 9 inch wide Russian veiling. It provides a flirty accent to any headpiece, silk flower or feather base. The price below is for the veil mounted to the featherpiece of your choice. We can mount your veil to a separate comb for an additional $8.00. This will allow you to wear your veil with a variety of headpieces and to wear your headpieces with or without a veil. It is shown here in ivory with one of our feather-festooned silk flowers.
The Russian veiling is available in Black, White, Ivory, Burgundy Wine, Cranberry, Fuchsia Rose, Baby Pink, Rose Pink, Dusty Rose, Apricot Peach, Citrus (orange yellow), Yellow, Red, Kelly Green, Hunter Green, Mint Green, Lavender, Purple, Turquoise, Powder Blue, Royal Blue, Navy, Beige, Coffee, Dark Coffee, Ecru, Metallic Silver, and Metallic Gold. All of our veils can be adorned with Swarovski crystals of an array of color choices or pearls. Open-Sweep Veil

The open-sweep veil is designed for those who want maximum flexibility in the appearance of their veiling. It is made of 22 inches of 8-9 inch Russian veiling with fancy-trimmed French pinch clips on either end. The clips anchor the veiling anywhere on your head, while hair pins can be used to create the amount and placement of pouf about your headpiece. The top 3 photos show the placement sequence: 1) anchor each pinch clip, 2) play with veiling to create your favorite look and anchor the gathers with hair pins, 3) slip the comb of your feather piece into one of the veiling clips. This veil is shown here with two of our newer feather pieces, the Dena and Sophia. The side-sweep veil is available in any of our Russian veiling colors.

Double Ruffle

The "double" birdcage is a ruffle that is added to the back of the comb of any of our birdcage veils (except the open-sweep veil). This extra flourish can be used to add drama to your look and can be used with or without a a featherpiece. This 9 inch white birdcage is made of fine English veiling (no longer in production), for the discerning woman. The small net size and soft appearance of this material make a lovely birdcage complement for any of our fine headpieces. This option is available in white and ivory. If we mount your headpiece directly to your veiling comb, deduct $8.00 from the pricing ($44.95). If you would like your birdcage to reach to your mouth area, we can make a 12 inch birdcage with this English veiling (available in ivory only; $60.95). All of our veils can be adorned with Swarovski crystals of a range of colors and/or pearls. Our 12 inch French veiling makes a birdcage that reaches below the nose for most head placements. This veiling provides a softer and refined appearance to the birdcage. 18 Inch Birdcage

The 18 inch Russian Veiling Birdcage allows for low placement of your feather piece behind your ear. This style works well with our larger pieces, and is shown here with our Wynn. We can trim the veiling some to bring the level to chin length if preferred. This veiling is available in White, Ivory & Black. Add $8.00 to have your birdcage mounted on a separate, braid-finished comb ($67.55).
