Our Designs
Our pieces use feathers that are commonly found in the designs of European and Australian milliners, such as ostrich, guinea, coquille, marabou, pheasant, flamingo, coque, peacock, hackle, and schlappen.
We also use emu feathers that add a gorgeous texture and rare domestic turkey feathers that are absolutely gorgeous. It is so easy to create attractive pieces with such gifts from nature. Some of our pieces incorporate bases used by milliners to create added structure. Yet all are so lightweight, you will forget you are wearing anything.
You will feel adorned in a natural way— fun way—and if you wish to take your piece off, your hair is unaffected by the wear. Some pieces are lightly accented with Swavorski crystals and pearls. Others are accented with crystal brooches that can be detached from the headpiece to be worn separately on other occasions. These would make a lovely gift for members of your bridal party. Our pieces range in size and cost depending on your taste and budget.
We can help you top off your gown ensemble for $30—$700 depending on the cost of materials and the amount of time it takes to create your piece. All are handmade by us in the U.S.A. with the care, love, and joy that went into Sandra’s making of her own bridal piece.
