Dena is made of two vertically-directed sprays of stripped hackle, coquille, and marabou feathers with a fancy-trim central joint that is easily embellished with a range of Swarovski crystal accents for an additional $10-20.00. The Dena comes in either white or black, but can be custom-dyed for an additional $35.00 (single fee, regardless of number of pieces ordered). - Double Ruffle (VBC-1007-R9B)
The "double" birdcage is a ruffle that is added to the back of the comb of any of our birdcage veils (except the open-sweep veil). This extra flourish can be used to add drama to your look and can be used with or without a a featherpiece. Just add this option to your shopping basket if you would like this element added to your birdcage veiling. It is shown here with one of our 18 inch Russian veils.
- Open-Sweep Veil (VBC-1006-R9C)
The open-sweep veil is designed for those who want maximum flexibility in the appearance of their veiling. It is made of 22 inches of 8-9 inch Russian veiling with fancy-trimmed French pinch clips on either end. The clips anchor the veiling anywhere on your head, while hair pins can be used to create the amount and placement of pouf about your headpiece. The top 3 photos show the placement sequence: 1) anchor each pinch clip, 2) play with veiling to create your favorite look and anchor the gathers with hair pins, 3) slip the comb of your feather piece into one of the veiling clips. This veil is shown here with two of our newer feather pieces, the Dena and Sophia. The side-sweep veil is available in any of our Russian veiling colors.
- 18 Inch Birdcage (VBC-1004-R18)
The 18 inch Russian Veiling Birdcage allows for low placement of your feather piece behind your ear. This style works well with our larger pieces, and is shown here with our Wynn. We can trim the veiling some to bring the level to chin length if preferred. This veiling is available in White, Ivory & Black. Add $8.00 to have your birdcage mounted on a separate, braid-finished comb ($67.55).

Our new Soliana line for infants and children was inspired by the recent birth of my adorable granddaughter (little Soli). The photos in this section provide a range of ideas for these feather clips and stretch headbands. Each Soliana piece includes a 1.5 inch wide crocheted headband that can stretch to fit infant through adult heads and 1 feather flourish mounted on a 2 inch teardrop pinch clip. The feather mount can be clipped on the headband, an infant/child cap, or may be worn alone.
The headband colors generally available include: white, cream, light pink, hot pink, red, baby yellow maize, cool mint, light blue, purple, lilac, and black.
